Corinth Raisins - Oliveology

Location: Peloponnese, Greece

Corinth Raisons are a small PDO protected variety of Greece from near Kalamata in the Corinthian region of the Peloponnese.  They are distinctive for an intense sweet flavour.

Their intense flavour marries well with a blue cheese like Colston Bassett Stilton or Roquefort but also with a more lactic hard cheese like Kirkham’s Lancashire (think Lancashire with Eccles Cakes).
