Made since 1991 on their family farm at Abbey Dore in Herefordshire, this is a carbonated and blended cider which tends towards the sweeter end of the artisanal scale but is balanced by a strong but subtle lactic acidity. It has ripe apple, red apple and honey baked apple flavours balanced out by some lemon and lime acidity. It pairs well with the more acidic English cheeses like Kirkham’s Lancashire, Duckett’s Caerphilly or Montgomery’s Cheddar.
