Our cow's milk yoghurt producer Romain Bardou was qualified in cheese and yoghurt production before he joined our caves in France. After a few years there he collaborated with Herve Mons to form a micro-creamery called the Laiterie de la Cote Roannaise where he produces this classic French set cow's milk yoghurt alongside a range of cheeses.
The fruit yoghurts marry Romain's gently lactic plain cows milk yoghurts with organic purees produced by Matthieu Peltier, the son of one of our Ste Maure producers, himself a grower of organic berries and cane fruits. The purity of fruit flavour is the calling card of these yoghurts. and they are never over-sweetened. We have Apricot. Blackcurrant, Blueberry, Chestnut, Mirabelle Plum, Raspberry and Strawberry flavours available.
